Welcoming the student to Toronto

Accompany the student on the first day of school, introducing them to the Dean of the school and making sure that they are properly welcomed.

Assist the student with choosing the best method of transportation to and from the school.

Assist the student with the purchase of the school uniform and school stationary supplies and familiarize them with the closest supermarkets and shopping malls closest to
their residence or school.

Maintain contact with the school, monitor the students progress while in school and maintain contact every three weeks with parents by telephone or email.

Represent the student as a neutral party should there be any problems between student, teacher or Dean.

Act as the parents representative with the school's Dean of international studies.

Regularly visit student's school and homestay to ensure your child is safe and is having an enjoyable time while in school.

Attend the school parent/teacher interviews and communicate to parents on student's
strengths or weakness.

Meet with the student every two weeks either to discuss any needs or concerns they may have.

In the event of an emergency situation we are always available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Assist the student in opening up a Toronto bank account at a location that is convenient to the student.

Arrange for health insurance at the student's parents request. Medical insurance cover is strongly recommended.

Arrange for any specific medical needs, such as dental checkups and doctors appointments. Assist the student in finding a medical doctor at a location that is convenient to the student.

Give advise and assist the student in any financial decision they may require.

Assist the student in all travel arrangements that is required.

Arrange for extra tutoring that might be needed at student's request. This would be an additional cost to the student.

Safekeeping of important documents and reserve funds.

Arrange extra-cultural support meetings or sports club enrolments.

Always available to the students parents with respect to any questions or concerns.

Arrange accommodation for visiting parents or closest relative
members.
